Eddie
Unfortunately we lost Eddie today, he was previously known as Dave while at Monikas. He was the most wonderful boy, and he passed peacefully with his family around him and a belly full of chicken and his favourite treats.
He lived to about 15/16 years old, adopted at age 6 back in 2017.
Eddie really was the most wonderful boy and we were incredibly lucky to be his parents and be able to spoil him. He definitely knew how loved he was.
His favourite foods were chicken, bacon and hot chippies (he wasn’t allowed to eat much with his heart problems but dad would sneak a bit when mum wasn’t looking!). He loved a walk, and would trot around Hyde Park happily twice a day.
His favourite thing to do was cuddles with mum and dad in bed or on the couch. He would frequently take all the pillows and blankets and claim them as his own, knowing he could get away with anything! His grandma would also lovingly knit him jumpers and blankets with his name on them.

Rescuing dogs means there is always a lot of work to do.
