Milo

Milo has reportedly had a number of homes and had a history of being in and out of the pound due to his owner's mental health issues. These reportedly did include the dog being locked in a cupboard. Since then, he has had other homes. In a test environment when a fake hand was waved around simulating hitting motions without contact, he would bare his teeth and cower and run to the other side of the yard trembling. Since being in our care, he has just been a happy gentle dog and indeed at our vets he was very friendly and easy to examine, but anxious with restraint. Milo is looking for a home with an experienced rescue family who understand life has not been kind. He is being weaned off anti-anxiety medication, and we are allowing him to just settle in a foster home with some other small dogs. He has a short coat and is overweight at 8.1kg when he came it. His ideal weight is 7kg.
