Gus was found living in bushland and a kind person working at a nearby factory started feeding him and gaining his trust. Weeks passed and eventually council came and trapped him. He is very shut down and scared. At the pound he was clipped under sedation. When he came to our vets they found what looked like a stick inside his ear. Within 2 weeks of coming to us, he was becoming an affectionate boy, wanting to sleep in carer's bed and playing with other fluffy dogs. He has started to enjoy belly rubs, fiddling with toes and feet and general body handing however ATM he really freaks out when you try to put a collar around his neck. He is very puppyish in his manner and very needy of people being close. This anxiety may diminish over time. He is a beautiful gentle dog who needs a very experienced owner to progress his handling further. He has a low shedding coat and weighs 7.6kg.
