Freckles came from the pound terrified and shut down. Even at our vets he would urinate and defecate on you if you tried to pick him up. It took 2 days at his foster home before he would move, and then we saw a tiny tail wag. He ate when there was nobody around. Freckles is getting used to some small senior dogs and seems happy in their company. He has grown in confidence which is exciting to see.
Freckles is such a gentle sweet boy who is very food motivated and quick to learn. He now likes cuddles from people he knows. He is looking for an experienced owner who can continue bringing him out of his shell. He has a shortish coat and weighs 6.4kg.
Rescuing dogs means there is always a lot of work to do.
