Belle

Belle and Bijou and are sisters who came from the pound. They have lived most of their lives in a cage and came with bowed front legs (carpal valgus). There is no indication that this is causing discomfort. They have suffered malnutrition. At 13 weeks of age, Belle weighed a tiny 3.1kg, rather than 10-12kg which is expected at that age. She is delightful playful happy girl.  We are focusing on her nutrition and ensuring she gets a lot of puppy milk and getting lots of exercise with her sister to build up muscle tone and stamina. The prognosis is generally good for the carpal valgus and may improve as she grows. It is important to monitor their development closely. She has a smooth coat and weighs 3.1kg at 13 weeks.
