Huckle

Huckle is a very sweet, friendly husky. He came from the pound with poor hindlimb posture and unable to walk properly and significant muscle wasting. We have started treating his skin issues with medicated shampoo, but we will need to see an orthopaedic surgeon regarding his stifle and luxating patella issues. He is likely in need of surgery. Despite all this he is such a sweet boy around people. We are only taking him on short walks for the time being. Our dog trainer says: "Huckleis very curious and likes being involved in activities. He is quite good with kids but definitely has his limits. He is quite treat motivated and responds well to kids when they reward him. He plays nicely but lets you know when he has had enough. He gives good kisses. he is a nice friendly dog, less aloof than many of the huskies. He is child friendly and suits 10-12yo."He has a short coat with undercoat and weighs 26.8kg.
