Maverick

Maverick is a mature gentleman who was left at the pound with heartworm. He is such a sweet affectionate and well-mannered boy. We have started the heartworm treatment, and he also had a low-grade mast cell tumour completely removed on his prepuce. Maverick is a very sweet boy who walks well on loose lead and is not reactive walking past other dogs. DoggieRescue is committed to seeing his heartworm treatment through, which will last about 3 months but he can be adopted at any time. Our trainer says: "He is gentle and friendly but will jump up so not suited to young kids due to his size. He suits 10-12yo kids" He has a short coat and weighs 28.1kg.
