How to give a dog a new name
At DoggieRescue, almost every dog who comes into our care is given a new name.
This is because dogs can associate their old name with past experiences that may have been frightening or distressing. A new name marks a fresh start and symbolises their second chance at a safe, happy and loving life.
For a tax-deductible donation of $80, you can be part of that new beginning by naming one of our incoming dogs. Simply donate via the link below and enter your chosen name on the payment page.
When a suitable new dog arrives, we’ll use your chosen name, email you to let you know, and acknowledge you on the dog’s profile on our website (for example: This dog was named by Samantha).
