Rusty is a very timid but very affectionate dog who needs slow, considered handling. He loves toys, food and lots of cuddles and gentle tones. He came from the pound where he was terrified. He would suit a rescue experienced adult family willing to let him climb out of his shell. Rusty will spin and try to chase his tail if he gets stressed so a quite calm household is a must. He will also chase boots of strangers as they leave. He has a scruffy coat and came in underweight at 8.9kg. He has since put on condition as he LOVES his food just like any pug!
Rescuing dogs means there is always a lot of work to do.
