Holly is a sweet very gentle mature lady. Her microchip says she is 5 years old but out vets think she is closer to 10 years. She came as a sad shut down girl who has just been a breeding machine all her life and got discarded in the pound with a huge tumour on her vulva which we have removed. She was scared to interact with you and looked like she was expecting some punishment. She has come a long way since being with us. She walks slowly on lead. Walks seem to be something new to her. She has been recently diagnosed with kidney disease (Grade 2) and is on renal food and is very stable and enjoys her food. She has old age joint issues, hip dysplasia and stiffness in her stifles, but she is on Antinol and gets acupuncture, which is helping a lot as well as some light pain medication. She enjoys the company of small dogs who pose no threat to her. She is one of the few staffies I trust with small dogs. She loves sleeping in the bedroom but is never needy or clingy and happy to be left unattended. She has a smooth coat and weighs 19.7kg.
