Charlie is a very sweet old man who is very friendly with people and easy to handle and very dog social with other small dogs. Charlie has a dull dry coat, bad teeth and some mild arthritic changes are seen in his joints upon x-rays. Charlie was missing 15 teeth and had just had 10 more extracted. The biggest concern for Charlie has been a bulging left eye with ulcer (visible in the pic above). Our vets have suggested the eye needs to be removed as he is in pain.
Charlie is looking for a quiet retirement home. He is still very agile and can jump on couches and loves his walks and especially enjoys his dinner! He has a shortish coat and weighs 6.7kg.
Rescuing dogs means there is always a lot of work to do.
