Carl is a sturdy, compact boy who has come from an abused background. He has beautiful brown eyes and a short, easy-care coat which does not shed. He is scared of people he doesn’t know and will remain introverted and shy until he knows and trusts you. However, when he is familiar with you, the lingering things from his bad past fall away. He is very attentive and will follow you all day if you let him. He walks well on a lead and does not pull or act aggressively with unfamiliar dogs. Carl absolutely loves water, swimming at the beach and going for a (short) run. He easily makes friends with other dogs, and he is very tolerant of being climbed all over by his doggie friends.
